In a recent interview, Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan opened up about his decision to stay away from technology. Nolan, who is known for making complex films, said that he finds technology to be too distracting.

"If I'm generating my material and writing my own scripts, being on a smartphone all day wouldn't be very useful for me," Nolan said. "It's about the level of distraction."

Nolan also said that he prefers to work in privacy. "People will say, 'Why do you work in secrecy?' Well, it's not secrecy; it's privacy," he said. "It's being able to try things, to make mistakes, to be as adventurous as possible."

Nolan's decision to stay away from technology has been praised by some fans, who admire his dedication to his craft. Others have criticized him for being out of touch with the modern world.

Regardless of one's opinion, there is no doubt that Nolan is a unique and talented filmmaker. His films are often complex and challenging, but they are also visually stunning and thought-provoking.
